Biography
A native of Rajkot, Dr Worah did his medical training and MBBS from the Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad after which the journey of life took him to the southern shores of India to Chennai where he trained in Ophthalmology at the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya. He was awarded the post graduate degree of Diplomate of National Board(DNB)in Ophthalmology by the National Board of Education Delhi. Upon completion of his DNB he pursued a Vitreo Retinal Surgical Fellowship at his alma mater Sankara Nethralaya for a period of 2 years.
After these 5 years of comprehensive ophthalmic training in Chennai, Dr Worah returned home to join Gadre Eye Care Centre as our full time Vitreo Retinal Surgeon. His areas of expertise include Diabetic Retinopathy treatment, Retinal Detachment surgery, Retinal LASERS, Macular Hole surgery, Retinopathy of Prematurity diagnosis and treatment amongst others.
Dr Worah is a member of various prestigious Societies such as All India Ophthalmological Society and VitreoRetinal Society of India.
